Susan J. MacBethSusan J. MacBeth (nee: Bishop), 79, a resident of Elyria until moving to Grafton in 2007, passed away peacefully July 14, 2018 at Life Care Center of Elyria. She was born April 10, 1939 to Albert and Bettye (nee: Robertson) Bishop and was a 1957 graduate of Elyria High School. After graduation she was employed at the former Worthington Ball Company and later for 38 years at Elyria Memorial Hospital.Susan is survived by her husband and caretaker Gerald, whom she married in 1999 ; son, John (Beth) Emmerich of Brunswick, Ohio; daughter, Mary Beth (Fred) Greene of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Shawna (Eric) Gereke, Sara (Scott) Solarz, Samantha Emmerich, Chelsea (Sam) Lopez, Jack Rose; great grandchildren, Grace & Jillen Solarz, Caden & Ian Gereke and Emily Emmmerich; step-children, Dianne Crockett, Dale MacBeth and Robin (Tony) Anderson and many step- grandchildren and step- great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her sister, Judy in 1965; mother, Bettye in 1982 and father, Albert, in 2007.Susan was active member at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Elyria and from 1985-1999 belonged to Parents Without Partners. Susan’s family would like to thank all those who have been so supportive over the past months including the staff at the Life Care Center of Elyria and Crossroads Hospice.
