Suzanne Povlsen Obituary
Suzanne M. Povlsen (nee Bohn), 73, of Elyria, died September 25, 2021 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She was born July 20, 1948 in Elyria and was a 1967 graduate of Midview High School. Suzanne had been employed part-time at Crystal Era in Elyria and was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ. Suzanne is survived by sons, Colin E. (Jennifer) Povlsen and Kevin L. Povlsen, both of Elyria; grandchildren, Zachary A. and Zoe I. Povlsen; and siblings, Judy Taylor of Elyria, Diann (George) Shively of Green Valley, AZ, William (Sharon) Bohn of Omaha, NE and Mark (Hien) Bohn of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter in 2015; parents, Ellsworth and Helen Bohn; sister, Sandra Schmittle and a half-sister, Phyllis Wiencke. Friends will be received Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Reverend Patrick Nicolino officiating.
