Terri Sakal Obituary
Terri L. Sakal (nee: Foss), 55, of LaGrange passed away October 13, 2016 at Mercy New Life Hospice, Lorain after a two year illness. She was born February 11, 1961 in Elyria and was a 1979 graduate of Elyria High School. Terri loved her job of twenty two years dealing with customers world wide at American Packing and Gasket in Grafton. She enjoyed the company of family and friends and spending time in the sun at her pool. She lived for baking and decorating during the holidays. Terri is survived by her husband of thirty years, Mark A. Sakal; children, Matt Sakal of Nashville, TN and Tyler Sakal of LaGrange; brothers, Jeff (Lori) Foss and Doug Foss both of Elyria; father, Kenneth Foss of Henderson, NV; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; brother-in-law, Rick (Cathy) Sakal of Cummings, GA and mother-in-law, Janet Sakal (nee: Henes) of Elyria. She was preceded in death her mother, Judy Foss (nee: Meldrum) in 2001. The family of Terri extends their thanks to all her doctors and the staff at Mercy New Life Hospice for the care she received. Friends will be received Wednesday October 19, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday October 20, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of an 11:00 AM service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Kathryn Ketchum will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mercy New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Road, Lorain 44053.
