Thomas E. Fortin Thomas E. Fortin, 57, of Lorain and a former longtime Elyria resident died May 12, 2021 after a lengthily illness. He was born July 13, 1963 in Elyria and attended Elyria West High School. He was knowledgeable about computers and a skilled auto mechanic. Tom is survived by his mother, Diane Fortin of Lorain; son, Thomas Jerome Fortin; grandson, Brandon Fortin both of Tennessee and a step-sister, Jean Renee Fortin of Elyria. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Fortin; brother, William Fortin; half-brother, George Fortin and his father, Wilfred Fortin. Services are private.
