Thomas H. Martin, 72, passed away April 1, 2014 at Kendal at Oberlin with his family at his side.Tom was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama, a professor of information studies at Syracuse University for 28 years, an environmental activitist, and world traveler.He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Anne V. Martin of Oberlin; son Christopher L. Martin of Ventura, CA; grandson Samuel A. Martin; and his brothers Charles H. Martin of Portland, OR and John L. Martin of Washington, DC.A celebration of his life will be held Friday May 23 at 10am at Kendal at Oberlin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his honor may be made to Kendal at Oberlin - Stephens Education Fund, 600 Kendal Dr., Oberlin, OH 44074.
