Thomas Kaine Obituary
Thomas Patrick Kaine, 82, of Elyria, died March 27, 2020. He was born June 24, 1937 in Elyria and was a 1955 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School. He served with the US Air Force as a cryptologic technician. Thomas lived throughout Lorain County for most of life with the exception of resided in Kissimmee, FL from 2000-2006. He retired as a Dry End Lead/QA Lead from National Gypsum, Lorain in 2000. He was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, Elyria. Tomas enjoyed golfing, watching Cleveland Indians baseball and OSU football, working crossword puzzles and playing cards. Thomas is survived by his wife, Pauline (nee Greene); daughter, Colleen M. Kaine of Amherst; son, Christopher T. Kaine of Strongsville; grandchildren, Jiordanne and Mackenzie; sister, Mary Ellen Williams of Elyria; brother, Patrick Kaine of Deerfield; step daughter, Dawn Weekman, of Parma; step sons, Roger Randolph of North Ridgeville, Greg (Karen) Randolph of Elyria; and Chuck Randolph of Huron; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and former wife, Gayle A. (nee O’Connor) Kaine of Amherst. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene J. and Thomas Kaine; and a step son, Earl Randolph. A memorial service will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00 am at New Haven Baptist Church, 5290 French Creek Road, Sheffield Village, Ohio. Reverend Ray Lovett and Reverend Brian Edwards will officiate. Burial will take place in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio.
