Thomas Sinkinson Obituary
Thomas S. Sinkinson, 64, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, died January 23, 2014 at his home. He was born August 6, 1949 in Braddock, Pennsylvania. Tom grew up in Elyria and was a 1967 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School where he played football for four years. He was employed in sales by Mylon C. Jacobs Incorporated, a manufacturer of natural gas pipelines, retiring in 2002. Tom is survived by sons, Tommy and Todd; daughters, Nicole, Sarah and Heather; nine grandchildren; mother, Selma (James) Stalla of Elyria; sisters, Debbie (Dave) Botos of Grafton, Jean Vincent of Elyria, Barbara (Dan) Spencer of Grafton, Diane (Jerry) Bodkin of Vermilion and Kathy George of Elyria and a brother, Scott (Tracey) Sinkinson of Wellington. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Sinkinson in 1984.Friends will be received Thursday January 30, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral mass will be Friday January 31, 2014 at 10:00AM at St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Charles T. Diedrick will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Andrew Vincent Elyria Hockey Scholarship Fund, 307 Brandtson Avenue, Elyria 44035.
