Tolliver Claypool Obituary
Tolliver D. Bud Claypool, 79, of Newcomerstown, Ohio and formerly of Grafton, died December 22, 2012. He was born October 18, 1933 in Palmer, Braxton County, West Virginia and served with the U.S. Army from 1956-1958. Bud was employed as a tool and die maker for 40 years at Crane Lear Romec Corp. in Elyria, retiring in 1997. He was a life long member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge No. 1849 and Elyria Moose Club No. 778. He loved fishing, hunting and auto racing and also enjoyed gardening and flowers.Bud is survived by his wife, Louise Cookie Claypool; to whom he married September 15, 1994; sons Joseph (Kathy) Claypool of Jane Lew, WV, William (Regina) Claypool of Elyria; daughter Sonja (Steve) Banyasz of Parma; grandchildren David and William Claypool, Jennifer, Melissa and Stephen Banyasz and Zak Terrill; sister Margaret Workman of Beckley, WV.He was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Grace Claypool in 1979.Friends will be received Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 4 p.m. until the time of a 6:00 p.m. service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH. Reverend Robert L. Smalley, pastor of Grafton Baptist Church will officiate. A committal service will be Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, OH.
