Tommy Trice Obituary
Tommy Lee Trice, 69, of Elyria, died June 10, 2022 in his home. He was born November 16, 1952 in Missouri and later moved to Benton Harbor, MI where he was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School. Tommy was employed as a welder at York International until its closing then worked numerous welding jobs throughout Lorain County. He had also worked at the Oberlin Heritage Center. Education and hard work were very important to him. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing chess, traveling and working in his yard. Tommy is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cheryl A. (nee Carter); children, Antonio Green, Tommie S.A. (Alisha Vittori) Carter, Mashona T. Carter and Trevor (Jennifer) Milton; brother, Willie Lee Trice; sister, Mae Lois Benson and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice (nee Meadows) Trice; brother, Leland Trice and sisters, Johnnie Mae Trice and Rosemary Trice. Friends will be received Friday, June 17, 2022 from 11:00 am until the time of a 12:00 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Pastor Pamela Hopkins will officiate. There are no gallery images.
