Val Valerius Obituary
Val W. Valerius, age 46, of Grafton, passed away suddenly at his home Wednesday, October 16, 2013. He resided in Grafton most of his life, was a graduate of Midview High School and Lorain County JVS. He was formerly employed with the Village of LaGrange and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle.Val is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sheila Lee Valerius; sons Steven, Randy and Dakota Valerius, all of Elyria, and two brothers, Kevin (Cynthia) Karnik of Leesburg, VA and Vincent (Denise) Karnik of Amherst, OH.He was preceded in death by his parents William and Norma Valerius.A private memorial service for the family will be Thursday, October 31, 2013, at LaGrange United Methodist Church, LaGrange, OH. The Reverend Ralph R. Krall will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family to help with funeral expenses.
