Virginia Capo (nee Bednar), 89, formerly of Elyria, died September 18, 2015 at Meadowbrook Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pulaski, TN.She was born December 22, 1925 in Marysville, PA. She was a homemaker, mother and excellent cook. Virginia loved and raised her children and also cared for the children of friends and neighbors.Virginia is survived by daughters Donna (Kenneth) Higgins and Nancy Stanley, both of Elyria, OH, Pennie Capo of Nashville, TN and Barbara Powell of Lawrenceburg, TN; sons Jerry (Kathy) Capo of Lake Worth, FL and Jeffery (Robin) Capo of Lorain, OH; 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson; and a sister Jennie McAlpine of Painesville, OH.She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Capo in 1985; son Buddy Capo and parents Anna and Mike Bednar.Friends will be received Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria, OH.A service will be Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, OH.
