Virginia Lester Stuart, 84, of Elyria died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Wesleyan Village.She was born October 30, 1927 in Harmony, WV and had lived in Oakhill and Charleston before moving to Elyria in 1954. She was employed at the former Worthington Ball Company in Elyria for 28 years, retiring in 1985. Virginia is a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, where she had been a Sunday school teacher. She helped her husband and sons restore classic cars and also enjoyed flower gardening, traveling.Virginia is survived by a son Steve L. (Vicky) Lester of Elyria; grandchildren Matt and Nina Lester and Shelly and Michael Lester; sisters Hazel Cummings of Gay, WV and Shirley Westfall of Ripley, WV.She was preceded in death by husbands Jimmy D. Lester in 1994 and F. Jerry Stuart in 2008; son Jimmie H. Lester in 2012; brothers Delmar and Mayford Jones; sister Mary Hissom and parents David and Dona (nee Westfall) Jones.Friends will be received Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A funeral service will be Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, 38550 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035. with Reverend Darrell Myers officiating.
