Virginia Lou Gustis (nee: Lindsay)Virginia Lou Gustis (nee: Lindsay), 72, of Elyria, died in her home October 25, 2017. She was born June 11, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA. Virginia was a 1963 graduate of David B. Oliver High School and was then employed as a surgical technician in Pittsburgh. After moving to Elyria Virginia was employed as a pharmacy technician at Discount Drug Mart. She was a founding member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.Virginia was the bride to her husband of fifty loving years, Robert E. Gustis, Sr. She is also survived by children, Dawn (Jeff) Pufnock, Judi (Jack) Henry and Robert Gustis, Jr.; grandchildren, Jon Robert Hofener, Erin Russell, Hannah Forror, Michael Pufnock, Marilyn, Valerie and Robert Gustis, III; great grandchildren, Ivan and Melody; sisters, Donna (Jack) Fiscus and Judy Ruth. She was a beloved aunt to Kelly Szoke, Beth VonBlon and Matthew and Adam Ruth. She was also loved by many great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Dorothy Lindsay and a brother, Milton Kenneth Lindsay, Jr.Friends will be received Sunday November 12, 2017 from noon until the time of a 1:00 PM service to celebrate Virginia’s life at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 295 College Park Drive, Elyria. Reverend Lori Miller will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church.
