Virginia M. Junod (nee Teehan) died March 2, 2012 at her home in Sheffield Village, Ohio.She was born in Detroit, MI, graduated from Coaley High School in Detroit and was formerly employed by Blue Cross. Before moving to Sheffield Village, she had been a longtime resident of Huron, OH and a member of Huron United Methodist Church, where she was financial secretary for 17 years, sang in the choir and served on the financial and administrative board.Virginia is survived by her husband of 61 years, Thomas L. Junod; son Ronald T. Junod of Everett, WA; daughters Laurel Wolf of Stow, OH and Linda Hoagland of Dubai, U.A.E. and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Leo J. and Grace (nee Keenoy) Teehan; brother Leo J. Teehan, Jr. and a sister Irene Ashton.A private memorial service will be held for the family with burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Wesleyan Senior Living Foundation, 807 West Ave., Elyria, OH 44035. Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria handled arrangements.
