Virginia Minch Obituary
Virigina M. Minch (nee: Goodrich), 88, of Avon Lake died November 17, 2013. She was born April 24, 1925 in Oberlin, Ohio and was a 1943 graduate of Elyria High School. She also attended Lorain County Community College and was formerly employed at Abex and Servomation both of Elyria. Virginia was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. She was a long time resident of Elyria and had lived in Port St. Lucie, Florida before moving to Avon Lake in 1996. Virginia is survived by sons, Paul Minch of Holly Springs, North Carolina, David (Elise) Minch of Farmington, Hills, Michigan and John (Roberta Bilotta) Minch of New Port Richey, Florida; grandchildren, Holly (Hal Looby) Minch), Craig (Erin) Minch and Kyle Minch and great grandchildren, Avery and Alex Minch.She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Robert Minch in 1995; infant daughter, Nancy Louise Minch; grandson, Bradley Minch; parents, Howard and Eudora Goodrich; brother, Howard Goodrich; parents-in-law, Leland and Ethel Minch and aunt and uncle, Mae and Aven Chesbro. Friends will be received Friday November 22, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A service will be Saturday November 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 300 3rd Street, Elyria. Reverend June Hardy Dorsey will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
