Walter C. Crow, 86, passed away on Oct. 16, 2014. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Powell), loving father of Christie Crow Vargo, Brian Crow, Deborah Crow Ruiz, Barbara Crow, stepchildren Penny Lynch and Michael Lynch. Devoted grandfather of Jacquie and Jacob Ruiz. Member of the Barbershop Harmony Society for forty-three years and the Golden Crescent Chorus of Lorain. Retired from the Cleveland Clinic after working there for seventeen years as the Director of Staff Benefits. Actuary, Financial Planner and Beneficiary consultant. Walter loved music, singing and outdoor sports. He was a generous loyal friend with a dry wit that everyone enjoyed. A memorial service will be Monday, October 20, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 25200 Lorain Road, North Olmsted 44070. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Doctors Without Borders. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria.
