Mr. Barnhart hired me just over thirty years ago to work at the Elyria Unemployment Office. He was a significant influence in my life and career and the opportunity he gave me for employment influenced all the other things in my life including raising my son sending him to school. I am still working as well as a number of other persons Mr. Barnhart hired. Thirty years later I am still saying thank you in my heart. Mr. Barnhart heard it from my lips many times and always knew I held him in the highest exteem. To the Barnhart family and to his lovely wife Alice I send my deepest regrets for your loss and want you to know how much I will treasure my memories of "Barney" and the days at 6th Street. Lil
