William “Bill” George HeuserWilliam “Bill” George Heuser, 81, of North Ridgeville passed away peacefully at his home August 4, 2017. He was born February 23, 1936 in Elyria. Bill graduated from Elyria High School in 1953 and married his high school sweetheart, Colleen, 2 years later. He was active in the Elyria community including the Elyria Players and Elyria Elks Lodge # 465, where he served as Exalted Ruler in 1970. He was also a trustee and remained an active member.Bill had a long and successful banking and real estate career and was employed by several local companies including Northern Savings and Loan, Lehman Johnson Real Estate, Third Federal and Parkview Federal. He retired in 1997, and enjoyed the freedom of life with his wife and family. He also was instrumental in taking care of his Mother, Eleanor Neufer, Mother-in-law, Leone Walters, and Great Aunt Dorothy Stranahan, RIP. Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends, travelling and watching Cleveland sports teams. He and Colleen enjoyed numerous trips including cruises and beach vacations with the family. Bill’s quick wit and endearing sense of humor will be missed by all, as will his kind and generous spirit. He was a great presence to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and loved more than could be imagined. Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Colleen (nee: Walters); and children, David (Vicki) Heuser , Mark (Margaret) Heuser and Lisa Young. He was grandfather to Chad Heuser, Brittney Price and Brent Heuser, Tyler and Travis Young and Morgan and Mitchell Heuser and great grandfather to Kaitlyn and Kennedy Heuser, and Taylor, Olivia and Harper Price.
