William Hobert Corley, 78, of Elyria, went to be with the Lord and his wifeDortha March 20, 2014 He was born March 21, 1935 in Cleveland, WV and attended Buckhannon Upshur High School. He moved to Elyria in 1953 and was employed at Pfaudler Company in Elyria until retiring in 1985. He then continued to work at Wesleyan Village in Elyria.He was a member of Avon Church of God. William is survived by sons Stephan Randall, Kevin Neal and Brian Hobert Corley; daughter Connie Lynn Lanning and Tamara Louise Corley; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 591/2 years Dortha Jean Corley in 2012; parents; two brothers and three sisters. Friends will be received Monday, March 24, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A funeral service will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Joseph Kelly officiating.Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
