William Baker Obituary
William K. “Bill” Baker, 75, of LaGrange, died June 9, 2019 at his home. Born July 16, 1943 in Price Hill, WV, Bill entered the US Army and served in the Reserves from 1962 to 1968. For 38 years, Bill was employed as a pipefitter at General Motors in Parma, retiring in 2002. He was a faithful member of Community of Faith United Church of Christ, Elyria where he sang in the choir. You could frequently find Bill working in his garden and barn. Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ginney (nee Pray); daughters, Jennifer Walters and Janice (Rich) Frygier; son, Kent (Samantha) Baker; grandchildren, Owen, Elise, Jackson, and Brady; and brothers, James and Dave Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kyle and Alice Baker; and a brother, Robert Baker. A memorial service will be Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00 am in Community of Faith United Church of Christ, 9715 E. River Road, Elyria. Reverend Kathryn Ketchum will officiate.
