William Moran Obituary
William P. Moran, 68, life long resident of Elyria, died May 15, 2022 at Keystone Pointe, LaGrange after a lengthy illness. He was born May 27, 1953 in Amherst and was a 1971 graduate of Elyria High School. Bill retired after 35 years from Laborers Local 758 in 2008. He enjoyed spending time entertaining family and friends, going to casinos and working in his yard. Bill is survived by a daughter, Kristina (Larry) Mlinko of Elyria; grandson, Joseph W. Mlinko; siblings, Michael (Rhonda) Moran of Yachats, OR, Mark (Elizabeth) Moran of Post Falls, ID, Matthew (Michelle) Moran of Amherst, Lisa Knipp of Akron, Phillip (Marilee) Moran of Burlington, WI, Nathan (Barbara) Moran of West Seneca, NY, George (Josie) Moran of Glyndon, MD and Jonathan (Carol) Moran of Virginia Beach, VA; sister in law, Stephanie Moran of Oberlin and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Sharon (nee Cerlan) in 2015; son, Aaron Kalo in 2021; parents, George and Marie (nee Breznan) Moran; brother, Edward James Moran and a sister, Monica Quintin. Friends will be received Friday, May 27, 2022 from 5:00 pm until the time of a 6:45 pm prayer service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. The Reverend Monsignor Michael Moran will officiate. A graveside service will be Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Bill’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Wyatt family for their unconditional love and support throughout the years. They would also like to thank the Keystone Pointe staff for their kind and compassionate care. There are no gallery images.
