William Dugan Obituary
William R. Dugan, 77, of Elyria, died June 30, 2023 at Ames Family Hospice, Westlake. He was born December 29, 1945 in Orrville, Ohio and was a 1965 graduate of Orrville High School. After graduation, he served with the US Army in Vietnam as a sergeant in the motor battalion. He was the former owner of Yesterdays Ice Cream Shop in Oberlin. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Molly L. (nee Roe); daughters, Loni (Bruce Carruth) Bowersock and Lori (Nate Younce) Dugan; granddaughters, Rachael (Sam) Dawson and Tori Hudson; great-granddaughter, Kennedy Dawson, great-grandson, Liam Dawson; nephews, Gene “Buzz” (Missy), Dustin and John Dugan; sister-in-law, Sheila Fishburn; brother-in-law, William Roe and his four-legged sidekick, comforter and companion, Punky Brewster. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Virginia Dugan.
