Willie Gage Obituary
Willie G. Gage, 63, of Lorain, formerly of Sacramento, CA, died peacefully July 21, 2015 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake, OH surrounded by family. He was born January 5, 1952 in Lorain, was a 1970 graduate of Admiral King High School and later earned a bachelors degree in business from Malone University. Willie was formerly employed with Moen Incorporated for 11 years as a supervisor and then 15 years with Invacare in Sacramento, CA as a plant manager. He enjoyed classic cars, fishing, camping and spending quality time with family and friends. Willie is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kimberly A.; daughters Shanda Gage and LaKesha Gage, both of Elyria; sons Addison Fisher of Lorain and Maurice Gage of Pittsburgh, PA; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brothers Henry Jr. of Largo, Maryland; Kevin Gage, of District Hts., Maryland and Keith Gage of Orlando, FL; sisters Dorothy Jackson of Spencer, OH, Velma Burnette, Kathleen Gage, Minnie Blackman of Lorain, Ida Gage of Cleveland and Loretta Lee of Lorain as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Francis Gage (Catchings). A memorial service will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Alliance Church, 626 Lorain Blvd., Elyria, OH 44035. Pastor Joseph Gause will officiate and memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
