Willie J. Nolen Willie J. “Beehive” Nolen, 84, of Lorain, died December 13, 2020. He was born April 9, 1936 in Wetumpka, AL and moved to Ohio when he was 13 years old. He was employed for 25 ½ years at General Motors retiring in 1991. Willie was an avid hunter and also enjoyed fishing and working on his lawnmowers. Willie is survived by his wife, Bobbie (nee Cross); children, Jerome Nolen, Willie Nolen, Jr., Mary Nolen all of Cleveland and Viola Nolen-Otero of Lorain; five step children, Roderick Cross, Sr., Saul Nolen, Frances, Nolen, Will Nolen and Shicunda Cole of Cleveland; 34 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Ambers; father, Junior Nolen; and grandmother, Nettie Ambers. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
