Wilma Ramsey Obituary
Wilma J. Sis Ramsey (nee: Cummings), 66, of Elyria, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at her home following a brief illness.She was born July 23, 1946 in Cleveland and attended West High School. She had also lived in North Ridgeville before moving to Elyria, where she has been a resident most of her life and was formerly employed for 21 years as a part time tax preparer for H & R Block. Wilma is survived by her husband Eugene Ramsey of Elyria; her companion and caregiver, Leon G. Shuman of Elyria; sons, Richard L. Ramsey of French Lick, Indiana and Ronald J. Ramsey of North Ridgeville; daughter, Jacqueline (Robert) OHara of Elyria; grandchildren Tamara Maims; Jaden and Nevaeh OHara and Kolbie Luckey; sister, Linda Mikulasik of Cleveland, brother, James S. Cummings, Jr. of Galloway, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, Robert Shaw of Fort Wayne, IN.Wilma was preceded in death by her mother, Norma R. Cummings (nee West) in 1985; father, James S. Cummings, Sr. in 1996; sister, Jackie Shaw in 1976; nieces Karen Sue and Denise Shaw and a nephew, Edward Shaw.Friends will be received Thursday, August 2, 2012 from noon until the time of a 2:00 p.m. service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Janet A. Long will officiate with burial in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
