Winifred Mae Boyce MooreWinifred Mae Boyce Moore, 87, died December 17, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born October 4, 1931 in Orient, PA. and settled in Cleveland in 1951. She resided in Sheffield Lake from 1978 until moving to Elyria in 2008 to live with her son. She enjoyed playing the piano and numerous other musical instruments and singing in church. Winifred is survived by sons, James R. Boyce (James Johnson) of Lorain and Harlan L. Boyce (Michelle) of Amelia, OH; grandchildren, James R., Jr., Charles A. and Ryan N. Boyce. She was preceded in death by husbands Harlan Boyce in 1985 and Charles Moore in 2008; parents, Frank and Emma Collins; sisters, Frances, Virginia, Evelyn, Margaret, Emma and Norma and brothers, Charles, Ernest, Paul, Edgar, Carl and Eugene. Friends will be received Wednesday December 19, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Friends will also be received Thursday December 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of a 11:00 AM service in the funeral home. Reverend Chad Britt will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Amherst.
