Benita J. Wales (nee: Curran), 93, a former resident of Lakeside, Copley and Mansfield, Ohio died March 15, 2014 at Wesleyan Village, Elyria. The oldest of eight children Benita was born January 18, 1921 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Benjamin and Louise Curran.Benita is survived by her children, Jayne McQuade of Heathsville, Virginia, Anne Conway (Rollin) of Oberlin, and David (Valerie) Wales of Ashland, grandchildren, Thadd McQuade of Staunton, Virginia, Brendan McQuade of Charlottesville, Virginia, Kristan (Brian) Carter of Oberlin, Jessica (Jason) Chisholm of Avon Lake, Sarah (Edward) Wales-McGrath of Twinsburg, and Alison (Matthew) Rolf of Chardon; great-grandchildren, Leo and Max Carter, Benjamin and Samuel Wales-McGrath, and Juliette and Aurelia Rolf; four sisters and one brother.She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Milton A. Wales in 2005.
