Oh so many emotions. Ed was my Great Uncle. My Grandpa was his brother William and my Mom was Patricia Masonis Murphy. I remember seeing your father and your mom(Aunt Kay and Uncle Ed) I was very little in those days. Your Dad was so kind and gentle. He also was a saving grace when both home I owned backed and I panicked . I remember stories of his baseball days. Please accept my prayers and sympathies Sue Murphy Amend
To the Masonis Family: Please accept my sincere sympathy in the passing of your father. Ed and I grew up on the west side of Elyria, went to St. Agnes School, played Little League together. I think the first time I was ever call Stush was by your dad, he will always be a great person in my book. So sorry for your loss, and my the blessing of our Lord be with you during this time and beyond.
Ed was my plumber for years. A kinder, more honest person could not have existed. He was also a neighbor. He talked constantly of his wife, who he always called, "my sweetie." The world will be a sadder place, knowing that Ed is no longer in it.
