Eileen was a very sweet and wonderful Stepmom. She loved all the kids and grandkids. She was always available to talk to you about anything, and a great adviser, but she never told you what to do, only suggested ......She was a wonderful wife to my father, Carl Craven, and they were married 37 years. I am going to miss her terribly but grateful she is no longer in pain. I know she is up in heaven now playing the piano and my Dad is on his trumpet.
Mom was a very special woman with a warm, kind heart that spent her life serving others. She was a wonderful example for all she came in contact with. I'm thankful God granted her peace and rest at this time and look forward to us being together again soon.
This day, August 22, 2014, a great lady of Israel has died--a truly Christian lady, who set a wonderful example of selfless service, faith, obedience, loyalty and dedication to God, His Work and Truth--who tremendously assisted her husband, Carl, a faithful PCG minister--and who loved her family and friends very much. Sharing your sorrow, because she was one of my very best friends in the WCG, continuing that special bond in the PCG--sorrowing, yet REJOICING in the hope of the first resurrection that is to occur SOON!!!
To Eileen's family ~ Your mother was so kind to her Aunt Elfireda, my mother, she was a keeper of family memories, which she shared with us all. My husband, Ray, remembers attending the train to her gown, when she was May Queen, at the May Pole Festival at Brookside High School, when she was a Senior and he was in second grade. She was so lovely, and talented, and could certainly play that piano. She will be missed, With Sympathy and Fond Memories, Bonnie (Solomon) Minsterman, First Cousin
Grandma, May you rest in peace with Carl and Dad. I know they were both there waiting to greet you with open arms. I will love and miss you always.
