Prayers going up for the family of Elaine 🙏 I did not know her personally, but my husband and I know her son, Phil. Phil, your mother was such an accomplished, multi-faceted, passionate woman, who helped many in her lifetime, especially children! Her education and contributions to the many people in her time here on earth is remarkable!! You must be so very proud to be her son. She certainly sounds like an Angel on this earth! I’m sure she loved you very much and I know you loved and treasured her❣️ May God help you during your grief and great loss. With love, prayers and many caring thoughts, George and Sally Bescak.
Elaine was our next door neighbor on Washington Av in Elyria for many years and her Philip and my Brian were playmates who loved going into their pool together and shooting baskets. Later, Elaine and I were Friday shopping buddies and would travel all around the greater Cleveland area with a nice lunch until I started back to work full time. When my husband's father died, Elaine made a beautifully decorated birthday cake for our daughter who was 8. She was a great neighbor. Elaine, with other women joined us for plays at Playhouse Square for many years and we went to Friday night movies at LCCC. Later, after we moved away to a new house, Elaine and I remained friends and spent a week at Chautauqua together with our sisters for many years. We were in book club together with friends and saw each other there. Elaine and I had a long history together and also with Philip who took such good care of his mother in her last years. May Elaine rest in peace and may Philip know he was a good and caring son to her.
So sorry to hear of Elaine passing. She was a wonderfully nice person. We would walk our dogs whenever she was out working in the yard (which was often) we would stop and chat. She was always so pleasant and loved to pet the dogs.
She was such an important part of my life growing up and someone who always showed kindness, patience, and love. Some of my favorite memories with her were going to the movies during Christmas time with my brother. Those trips were simple moments, but they meant so much and are memories I’ll always carry with me.Elaine was also someone who helped guide me through school and growing up. She always took the time to encourage me and make sure I was on the right path. She truly cared, and that kind of love leaves a lasting impact. There are so many great memories that come to mind when I think of her moments of laughter and support. Rest in peace, Elaine. You were loved and will never be forgotten. Love,Mike, Brandy, and Ava
