Dear Jackie, Julie, Jeff, Jim and family, I wish I could be with you today. I have such wonderful memories of our families spending weekends together when I was young. There was always so much fun and laughter. Fred was always at the center of the fun. He and I would share emails and jokes via the computer over the years. He always kept a positive attitude and contributed to make me smile and laugh. Fred never left a conversation or a visit without an, "I love you." The memories of the years we spent as young adults seem to overshadow the memory of the years of Fred zooming around the house in his wheelchair - always with a smile, always of good cheer. I will never forget the sight of him with dirt packed in his crew cut after he and Dwight rolled a car in the back yard. Fred was a good man - he was loved.
